Our mothers told us as children, to eat our carrots or we would go blind remember? But it was not until we became adults that we could see what they meant. It really was her was of telling us our bodies need the vitamins found in fruits and veggies to make us health. However telling a child that is like telling them the dentist is fun. Just does not work for them.
In our world of poor eating and go go go , children today are at greater risk of having a vitamin deficiencies. We can’t understand that this is the most important time in a child’s life for them to get the proper nutrition from vitamins. Strangely as parents we are so busy trying to be society’s idea of a perfect parent that we are turning a blind eye to the dangers of vitamin deficiencies in our children. Not only can lack of vitamins effect the growth of you childs bones, it can stunt their growth. This is not something you can buy a happy meal for and make it all better. Lac of calcium can cause a great deal of problems later on in the your child’s life. Did you know your mother was right? With out vitamins your child could loose vision over the years. And now this might catch the attention of working mothers and fathers….how often does your young get a cold? Seems like every couple of months right? Well that is due in part of the germ of the world but with the proper vitamin C in you child’s diet they would be able to fight off those germs.
Vitamin
deficiencies are something that everyone should be aware of , it can
lead to poor health and poor grades. Studies will show that a child’s
attention span is shortened with the lack of proper iron in his/ her
diet. Should you not take a better look at what your kids are eating?
